After you've signed a contract or letter of agreement the fun begins. Here's what you can expect:
Phase 1 - Design
During this phase, GHI presents
preliminary plans for your project. This includes verifying approach,
spatial changes, color schemes, and other specifics.
Phase 2 - Specification and Fabrication Documents
During
this phase, GHI will provide drawings, photographs, and floor plans that echo
the decisions made in Phase 1. At this time, Gary and his staff will work
with you to select the types of materials to be used, including flooring,
wall-coverings, furnishings, and other elements. Once you've indicated
your preferences, Gary will prepare a detailed estimate of project costs.
Phase 3 - Purchasing
During
this phase, contractor/subcontractor hiring and job coordination begins to make your
dream a reality. Gary and his staff will supervise order placement,
labor, and installation. Having GHI handle this phase also gives you
the added advantage of access to worldwide resources - furnishing, fabrics, and
building materials - that aren't commonly available to the general public.
Phase 4 - Installation
During this final phase, GHI will
monitor the work of selected contractors, ensuring your project is completed
according to your specifications. Now, more than ever, the convenience of single
contact to supervise the installation details can save money and time at the
critical point in your project.
